Gooo XDCC bots. I found some more ^^

This site hosts pack lists for three bots, sort of similar to distro.anime.nu. It looks like the site is somehow affiliated with Animanda. Navigation for the different pack lists are near the top.

Suzume is a new release bot, like baka-upload and Suzaku. It’s got over 500 packs
Chocolate only serves releases from Animanda, and Onizuka, Yoroshiku.

Update (Oct 10/07): Kousoku is a bot for SARS-Fansubs releases. There is also a DDL page (Anime downloads). These might have been already there when I first wrote the post… *shrug*

New shows that I’ve considered in the last little while:

Nodame Cantabile - animation is simple and elegant. Definitely better than La corda d’oro. I’m loving it. (Gooo band nerds :P)

Manabi Straight - nice animation quality as well. Lots of cuteness and energy. Quite enjoyable. Massugu GO!!

Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou - watched ep01. Nothing special, not interested.

Getsumen To Heiki Miina - watched ep01 because I saw that the main character was the rabbit girl from the Densha Otoko OP theme. Seems kinda pointless, so probably won’t follow the show. May try ep02.

Hidamari Sketch - to be honest, I was watching the first ep and I didn’t quite get it. And then I didn’t quite like the way they sometimes drew the characters’ heads. Oh well.

Les Misérables - poor Cosette~ I haven’t yet experienced Les Mis in any shape or form, so I’m looking forward to the story ^^

Another bot with recent releases. It hasn’t got as much of a variety as baka-upload, but I suppose Suzaku does have the more popular series/fansub groups?

I found the bot while I was lurking on SARS-Fansubs channel (#sars-fansubs @ Rizon), but I’m not sure whether that’s its home. If you want to find this bot, just type “/whois Suzaku” on Rizon. Note that you can’t download from Suzaku unless you’re on one of the channels that it is residing on.

Btw, I ran a test send, and the speed is very satisfying. =3
