Anime Field

LINK TO BLOG

Another day in the world of kiwiish, exploring the wonders of the internet and bandwidth consumption (xD), I’ve found a blog with a very similar intent as mine! Well, his is much, much better than mine, since he posts regularly, has a consistent format, and, most importantly, has lots of goodies for you hungry leechers :P

I have not had a chance to fully explore ZMAng’s site yet, but from what I’ve seen, he offers you sources of anime including BT, DDL, FTP sites as well as XDCC bots. What impresses me is the time that he took to find out what sort of things you need to do before you can download from, say, a direct download forum.

For now, I won’t attempt to make any more comments. When I have some time (and I remember :P), I’ll be sure to fully explore this seemingly wonderful blog! Oh, how I love the internet :D

Speaking of blogs, I should add some some links to my blogroll… lol.

Manga Jouhou

Filed under: manga, Info Databases, Bittorrent — = kiwiish = @ 12:48 am

LINK TO SITE

DL method: some Bittorrent.

A site dedicated to manga news and releases. It is like AnimeSuki but it’s for manga, and it’s got manga news as well. Bittorrent links are offered where available.

If you use Firefox, you can add the site as a live bookmark if you want to check for new releases without going to the site.

Baka-Updates

Filed under: manga, anime, DDL, Info Databases, Bittorrent — = kiwiish = @ 12:22 am

LINK TO SITE (ANIME)
LINK TO SITE (MANGA)

DL method: mostly Bittorrent for anime; various for manga.

Baka-Updates provides information on new releases, as well as general anime/manga news. I personally don’t use this site since I found other sites before this one that gives me pretty much the same info. However, it is another source of info, and you might prefer the navigation or layout of this site more than others.

They also have two irc channel (one for anime and one for manga). I believe you can get news via the channels instead of the site, and new releases may be submitted there as well. Please check out the FAQ on their site or go to the channel itself for more info on this.

AnimeSuki

Filed under: anime, Info Databases, Bittorrent — = kiwiish = @ 2:56 pm

LINK TO SITE

DL method: Bittorrent only.

This is a database that provides links to torrent files of unlicensed anime. There are some live-action series as well. Information provided about each series, such as number of episodes (if known), vintage date (when it started airing in Japan), and links to other sites with more info on the series. Information also provided about each fansub group in the database, including their website and IRC channel, if the group has these.

In short, very easy to browse, very informative.
